The 2024 3rd International Conference on Energy and Electrical Power Systems (ICEEPS 2024) wrapped up in Guangzhou!  第三届能源与电力系统国际学术会议(ICEEPS 2024)在广州圆满落幕!


The 3rd International Conference on Energy and Electrical Power Systems (ICEEPS 2024) was convened in Guangzhou, China, from July 14th to 16th, 2024. Hosted by the South China University of Technology, this conference garnered technical support from IEEE, with the Guangdong AiScholar Institute of Academic Exchange and Academic Exchange Information Center (AEIC) as the undertakers. Co-organizers included the University of Macau, Shenzhen University, Guangxi University, Sun Yat-sen University, the Integrated Smart Energy System Optimal Operation and Control, South China University of Technology (SCUT-ISESOOC), the IEEE PES Smart Building, Load, and Customer Systems Technical Committee (China), and the IEEE PES Power System Operation, Planning, and Economics Technical Committee— Emerging Technologies Subcommittee for Grid Operation Planning. Additionally, the Editorial Departments of Southern Power System Technology and the Journal of Guangdong University of Technology provided media support for the conference. 2024年7月14-16日,第三届能源与电力系统国际学术会议(ICEEPS 2024)在中国广州盛大举行。本次会议由IEEE提供技术支持,华南理工大学主办,广东省艾思信息化学术交流研究院、AEIC学术交流中心承办。澳门大学、深圳大学、广西大学、中山大学、华南理工大学综合智慧能源系统爱思科研究中心、IEEE PES 智慧楼宇、负载和客户系统技术委员会(中国)、IEEE PES电力系统运行、规划与经济技术委员会-电网运行规划新兴技术分委会联合协办,《南方电网技术》编辑部、《广东工业大学学报》编辑部提供媒体支持。

Under the theme "Creating More Flexible and Intelligent Energy and Power Systems,"ICEEPS 2024 placed itsspotlight on a spectrum of groundbreaking technologies and their practicalapplications, such as "Flexible Interconnection" and "Artificial Intelligence."Pooling over 150 esteemed experts and scholars from across the globe, this conference served as a platform to deliberate on cutting-edge research advancements and anticipate the future trajectories of energy and power systems. The conference boasted a multifaceted communication lineup, encompassing keynote speeches, invited presentations, oral presentations, and poster sessions, offering a holistic view of the field. Specifically, it showcased 4 insightful keynote speeches, 12 captivating invited presentations, 14 rigorous oral presentations, and 27 engaging poster exhibitions.

大会以“创造更加柔性、智能的能源电力系统”为主题,重点关注“柔性互联”、“人工智能”等诸多创新技术和实际应用。累计汇聚了来自全球超过150位专家学者共同探讨能源与电力系统的最新研究成果和未来发展趋势。会议采用了大会主题报告、特邀报告、口头报告、海报展示等多样化的交流形式,共举办4场大会主题报告、12场特邀报告,以及14场口头报告和27场海报展示。

During the opening ceremony, Assistant Professor Jingrong Liu from the University of Macau gracefully assumed the role of host, while Professor Jizhong Zhu, a distinguished Foreign Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Institute of Bologna in Italy and President of the Conference, offered the opening address on behalf of the organizing committee, extending a heartfelt welcome to all esteemed leaders, experts, and scholars in attendance. The keynote speech session witnessed a series of captivating presentations, each delivered by renowned scholars, including Professor Huanbin Liu, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering Sciences and former President of South China University of Technology (SCUT), Professor Baorong Zhou, a Senior Engineer from China Southern Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute (CSG EPRI), Professor Lin Guan from SCUT, and Professor Jizhong Zhu, all centering their talks around the conference themes. These presentations showcased their remarkable research achievements and profound academic perspectives, eliciting widespread interest and stimulating lively debates among the participating experts and scholars. The atmosphere of academic exchange was rich, vibrant, and conducive to the exchange of ideas and knowledge.

开幕式上,澳门大学的刘景荣助理教授担任主持人,意大利博洛尼亚科学院外籍院士、华南理工大学朱继忠教授代表大会主席致开幕词,对出席本次会议的各位领导、专家和学者表示热烈欢迎。在大会报告环节,俄罗斯工程院外籍院士、华南理工大学原校长刘焕彬教授,南方电网科学研究院有限责任公司周保荣教授级高工,华南理工大学管霖教授,朱继忠教授围绕会议主题展开了一系列精彩的演讲,展现了他们在相关领域的研究成果和学术见解,报告引起了与会专家学者们的广泛关注和热烈讨论,现场的学术交流氛围浓厚。

At these forums, oral speakers include Kai Xin, the Chief Expert of Grid-Connection Technology at Huawei Digital Power Technology Co., Ltd.; Lidong Zhang, a Strategic Technology Expert from the China Southern Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute (CSG EPRI); Professor Xu Cai of Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Professor Xing Zhang from Hefei University of Technology; Professor Yandong Chen from Hunan University; Deputy Chief Engineer Changjiang Zhan from NR Electric Co., Ltd.; Chief Engineer Xiaodan Wu from Sieyuan Electrical Co., Ltd.; Professor-level Senior Engineer Kaijian Ou from China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd.; Professor-level Senior Engineer Donghui Zhang, associated with the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute-Tsinghua University; Associate Professor Hongjun Gao from Sichuan University; Professor Liang Che from Hunan University; Assistant Professor Jingrong Liu of the University of Macau, along with several other distinguished presenters who offered insightful oral presentations on hit issues pertaining to energy and power systems.

会议还下设新型变流器技术发展研讨与“新型电力系统异步分区、柔性互联技术”、“新型电力系统业务数字化与智能化技术”、“新时代下AI赋能智慧能源教研论坛”三个平行分论坛。来自华为数字能源技术有限公司的并网技术首席专家辛凯,南方电网科学研究院的战略级技术专家张利东,上海交通大学的蔡旭教授,合肥工业大学的张兴教授,湖南大学的陈燕东教授,南京南瑞继保电气有限公司的詹长江副总工,思源清能电气电子有限公司的吴小丹总工,中国南方电网有限责任公司的欧开健教授级高工,清华四川能源互联网研究院的张东辉教授级高工, 四川大学的高红均副教授,湖南大学的车亮教授,澳门大学的刘景荣助理教授以及多位口头汇报共同探讨了包括能源、电力等在内的多个热点话题。

In addition, the conference awarded prizes for the Best Paper, Best Oral Presentation, and Best Poster to recognize outstanding contributions from participating scholars. Upon the successful conclusion of all scheduled sessions, the 2024 3rd International Conference on Energy and Power Systems (ICEEPS 2024) drew to a close amidst resounding applause. We eagerly anticipate reconvening next year to ascend new technological heights, contributing our collective expertise and resources to the vibrant and burgeoning development of this esteemed field. 此外,会议还设立了最佳论文、最佳口头报告、最佳海报等奖项,以表彰在会议中表现突出的学者。至此,随着各项议程的圆满完成,第三届能源与电力系统国际学术会议(ICEEPS 2024)在热烈的掌声中落下帷幕。最后,让我们期待明年再聚,共同探索科技前沿的新高度,为这一领域的繁荣发展贡献智慧与力量!
